<p>The appts. uses a single reservoir which has wax input at one end and output at the other end. The reservoir has a filter screen at the top and is closed at the base by a movable closing valve. An electrically powered heating belt passes round the exterior of the reservoir to heat the wax. A settable thermostat is used to control the temp. of the wax, and an indicator lamp is illuminated while the wax is being heated. The unit is fixed to a vertical wall or to a console, freeing the hands of the operator. The closing valve has a ball at the top and a rod extending below the reservoir. If the rod is displaced upwards, wax flows onto the surface of the displacing objects.</p> |
