<p>The mounting comprises a bracket, pref. of pressed sheet metal, which has a flat face for fixing to the windscreen. The back of the mirror has a fitting which detachably engages part of the bracket, e.g. by means of a bayonet type coupling. To bond the bracket to the windscreen, the appropriate area of glass is pref. first coated with silver, partic. by silk-screen application.</p> |
