The subject of the application is a round keel. The round keel fastened to the round boat and passing around the round boat brings about a calming and stabilising floating position of the round boat. The round keel is a hollow-body construction, the part which projects into the water in each case being loaded with fluid or the like. This loading is an additional factor for calming and stabilising the floating position of the round boat and permits corresponding rolling of the round boat on the water.
