摘要 The invention relates to a measuring device for measuring the thickness of mud layers situated on the bed of water bodies. It consists of a float (2) having a device (3) for stabilising the direction of movement and at least one measured value recording device (4). The measured value recording device (4) consists of a measured value memory unit (5) which is connected to a measured value transmitter (6). The measured value transmitter (6) is constructed as a measuring arm (7), one end section of which is mounted on the float (2) to be capable of pivoting vertically, and is operationally connected to the measured value memory unit (5), and the other end section of which is constructed angled in a cambered fashion as a sliding member which can slide on the mud surface. It is expedient for the measuring arm (7) to be capable of pivoting vertically in a slot-like perforation provided on the rear of the plate-shaped float (2). It is also possible, in addition, to arrange on the float (2) a level measuring device by means of which the distance of the float (2) from the apex of the canal can be measured. The level measuring device can have an ultrasonic transmitter, or else be provided with a pivotable measuring arm which can be brought to bear against the apex of the canal, and whose pivoting angle is recorded as measured variable by a measured value recording unit and stored in a measured value memory. <IMAGE>
