A vibrator device has a rotatably mounted and driven vibrator shaft (1) with coaxial cylinder space (2). At least one mass element (5) penetrates the cylinder space and is guided in shaft slots (3, 4) parallel to the axis. The mass element contains approximately in the centre a guide opening (6) which is inclined at an angle with respect to the axis (14) and to which a likewise inclined guide pin (7) of a control element (9) engages. The control element is axially adjusted in the cylinder space (2). The adjustment takes place advantageously via a fixed hydraulic cylinder (12) whose piston rod (11) is connected rotatably to the control element (9) without play. Further mass elements are adjustable in a similar manner in the cylinder space (2) via a connection to the other end (22) of the guide pin (7). In one position of the control element (9), the mass element (5) has a position with respect to the vibrator shaft (1) in which the latter is free of unbalance. In another position a maximum degree of unbalance is obtained. <IMAGE>
