PURPOSE:To improve the cleaning efficiency, by providing a magnetic roll rotatably in a fur brush and impressing a bias voltage across them in the direction where a toner is separated from the fur brush. CONSTITUTION:The toner on a carrier 1 is swept by the fur brush 4. The magnetic toner floated at this time is carried to a magnetic roll 7 by the rotation of a cylinder body 3 while being attracted to the cylinder body 3 by the magnetic force of a magnet 5 incorporated in the cylinder body. A magnetic field is formed in the region, where the magnetic roll 7 and a magnetic fur brush 2 face each other, by a magnet 5 incorporated in the magnetic fur brush 2. Therefore, the magnetic toner having the positive polarity carried by the fur brush 4 is transferred from the fur brush 4 to the magnetic roller 7 and is removed and dropped into a toner receiver 9 by a blade 8. |
