Pocket broadcast receiver

The pocket broadcast receiver has interchangeable modules which each contain the elements of the radio-frequency receiver component which are permanently tuned to the frequency of a specific transmitter, while the basic unit has the amplifier stages with the batteries for power supply. The receiver can be operated as required with headphones or earphones or with a small plug-in loudspeaker. The receive sensitivity and performance of the unit can be substantially increased due to the permanently tuned radio-frequency stages and the absence of control elements and the scale display device while the normal structural size of pocket receivers is retained. <IMAGE>
