PURPOSE:To obtain a deflection voltage having high amplitude by converting the charge voltage of a pair of series charging circuit to a pair of sawtooth wave voltage through a switching means then applying directly on a diflection electrode. CONSTITUTION:The absolute value of the output voltages from power sources 31, 32 are equal where the output voltage from a regulating power source 44 is half of the output voltage from the power sources 31, 32 while the power sources 31, 32 and the regulating power source 44 are connected with the polarity shown on the drawing and interlocked to be regulated. Consequently the voltage waveform shown on Fig. (a) is produced from the deflection electrode 5 while the voltage waveform shown on Fig. (b) is produced from the deflection electrode 6 to be utilized as the electrostatic deflection voltage and the combined electrostatic deflection voltage is as shown on Fig. (c). When varying the voltage of said source 44 slightly from 1/2 of the voltage from said power sources 31, 32, the center of the electrostatic deflection can be shifted (or aligned). |
