In a battery-operated clock for bicycles, which can be mounted on a tube by means of a tube clip (10), the tube clip (10) forms together with a base plate (4) a unit on which the clock casing (1) is detachably mounted with the interposition of a rubber washer (5). Furthermore, the clock casing is sealed in a splash proof fashion at the top by means of a cover glass (3) engaged in the casing (1) with the interposition of a sealing ring (12). <IMAGE>
