PURPOSE:To operate roll exchange easily, to reduce operating time and to improve safety, by pushing up and supporting a rail supporting bed and providing a means for displacing jacks locating at the driving and hydraulic pressure sides. CONSTITUTION:A lifting cylinder 16 is provided to the lower part of a rail supporting bed 14 to push up and to support the bed 14, and a gap is formed between wheel 13 and rail 13 as the lowering position during rolling. Or, the bed 14 is hung and supported with the aids of lifting cylinder 16 installed to a lateral beam of housing. The bed 14 is supported by housing posts 28 of housings 1 and 2 placed at the operating and driving sides. Hydraulic jacks 11 and 11 placed at the operating and driving sides are connected by a link 18, and the jack 11 at the driving side is moved to the outside and the operating side jack 11 is displaced to the inside by fixing a connecting part 20 of a moving cylinder 19 to the driving side cylinder 11. Thus the operating time for roll exchange is reduced without requiring a long draw-out-stroke of roll in a roll rearranging device. |
