PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of current and to save energy, by feeding the energy stored to a constant curent source having a reactor load of low resistance storing high energy back to the power supply side when the sweep of the current drops. CONSTITUTION:The six phases of a primary transformer 1 are rectified by primary diodes 2a-2f and supplied to a load 7 via transistors (TR) 3a-3f and a shunt 4. The output of the shunt 4 is controlled 5 and then applied to the base of each TR and to an energy feedback selecting circuit 9 via reverse current preventing diodes 8a-8f. In a steady state, only the highest phase of voltage is turned on. Therefore the X' phase is set at the lowest level when the X phase is highest. Then a TR3e is turned on with the signal of the circuit 9, and no current flows due to a primary diode 2e. When a descent signal is supplied to a control circuit 5, the signal to be applied to the TR3b is turned off. Thus a primary current flows via the X' phase, the diode 2e and the TR3e, and the adverse voltage is impressed to the load 7. Then the energy is fed back to the power supply side. In such a way, the energy is saved and the current control is facilitated. |
