PURPOSE:To prepare the titled granular enzyme having excellent moisture resistance and storable stably for a long period, by spraying a detergent enzyme solution and a specific water-soluble modified cellulose to the surface of a water- soluble or water-dispersible inorganic granules. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a cellulose derivative (e.g. methyl cellulose) is made to react with 1-90pts.wt. of a polybasic carboxylic acid (e.g. maleic acid) at 50-90 deg.C, and if necessary, neutralized with ammonia or amine to obtain a modified cellulose (salt) which is insoluble in water under neutral or acidic condition and soluble in water under alkaline condition. Separately, an aqueous solution containing 10-50wt% of an enzyme for detergent (e.g. protease) active at 7- 11pH and 15-60 deg.C is sprayed to the surface of water-soluble or water-dispersible inorganic particles (e.g. Na2SO4) having particle diameter of 10-30 mesh, and then an aqueous solution containing 1-10wt% of the above modified cellulose is sprayed thereto and dried to obtain the objective granules. The amount of the enzyme and the modified cellulose applied to the inorganic material are 5-100pts.wt. and 1-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the inorganic material, respectively. |
