PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of hardware and to obtain diverse checking function, by providing a checking device with the 1st logical control part which includes a checking circuit and a necessary register and control storage circuit, and the 2nd logical control part which includes a microprocessor and a necessary circuit. CONSTITUTION:The checking device is provided with the 1st and the 2nd logical control parts 1 and 2, and the logical control part 1 is provided with the storage circuit 11, checking circuit 13, an address register 14, a microinstruction register 12, etc. The logical control part 2 is provided with a control storage circuit 22, the microprocessor 21, a bus register 23, a decoder 24, write and read inhibiting and address setting FFs 25-28, etc. This processor 21 incorporates high-level logical functions and the contents of the processor 21 are read to make an error compensation code check or parity check by the checking circuit 13. Thus, the amount of hardware is reduced and diverse checking functions are obtained. |
