PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane type hydrogen separator where the use of an inexpensive and small-sized separation membrane having stable performance is required for the cost reduction of a hydrogen separator using the separation membrane since the achievement of both the improvement of the separation performance of a metallic hydrogen separation membrane and size enlargement is difficult in production.SOLUTION: In a membrane type hydrogen separator, the hydrogen separation performance of a sheet of steel plate is increased by pasting a small-sized separation membrane on the steel plate and the necessary permeation area of a hydrogen separation membrane is ensured by superposing the steel plates and further increasing a hydrogen permeation area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
