PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server capable of increasing variations of an acquisition method of a match card, a server controlling method, and a program.SOLUTION: There are included: item providing means 122 which provides a user with one or more items in an item group including a plurality kinds of items having different scarcity values; and additional item providing means 122 which stores the number of times of providing items by the item providing means 122 in a storage section 11, and provides a user with an additional item having a scarcity value higher than that of the item included in the item group, in accordance with the number of providing times stored in the storage section 11.
