PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device which, without providing a motor or a tension reducer, improves restraint performance of a passenger in a vehicle collision or sudden deceleration while reducing a feeling of pressure when the passenger wears a waist belt.SOLUTION: A seat belt device comprises: a webbing 1 having a shoulder belt part 1A obliquely laid from a shoulder part to a waist part of a passenger seated on a vehicle seat, and a lap belt part 1B which is integrally continuous to the shoulder belt part 1A and laid in a vehicle width direction across the waist part of the passenger; a shoulder side retractor to which an end part of the shoulder belt part 1A is coupled so as to be wound; a lap side retractor to which an end part of the lap belt part 1B is coupled so as to be wound; a tongue 4 which has an insertion hole 41 into which the webbing 1 is inserted, and is movable along a longitudinal direction of the webbing 1; a buckle 5 with which the tongue 4 is engaged detachably; and a pretensioner 6 for drawing the buckle 5 toward the lower side of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
