PURPOSE:To obtain an org. photoconductive composition for electrophotography giving a photoreceptor with superior light resistance, photosensitivity, etc., by mixing a polymer contg. a specified (meth)acrylic ester deriv. as principal constituent units with an electron donor. CONSTITUTION:The desired org. photoconductive composition for electrophotography is obtd. by mixing a polymer (A) contg. a (meth)acrylic ester deriv. represented by formula I (where R is H or methyl, and each of m and n is 1-3) as principal constituent units with an electron donor (B) such as anthracene or hydroquinone and a solvent (C) such as benzene or acetone. A binding resin (D) such as polystryrene may be added. The component A can be manufactured by reacting an alcohol compound represented by formula II with (meth)acrylic acid chloride and by polymerizing the resulting (meth)acrylic ester monomer represented by formula III. |
