PURPOSE:To provide the titled mechanism which is simple in construction and inexpensive, by a method wherein a one-way clutch part for a platen roll shaft and an arm fitted to a printing head shaft can be synchronously driven by a solenoid through a wire. CONSTITUTION:In a printing operation (where the solenoid 12 is not excited), the printing head 2 fitted to a shaft 5 is rotated counterclockwise due to a counterclockwise rotating force of the arm 11 generated by a contracting force of a spring 16, and is brought into contact with a recording paper 19. When the solenoid 12 is excited, the wire 14 is drawn against an energizing force of the spring 16, (i) the arm 11 and the shaft 5 are rotated clockwise to separate the head 2 from the paper 19, (ii) the one-way clutch part 6 fixed to a disk 7 is rotated clockwise, and the platen roll shaft 4 is rotated clockwise slightly after the action (i) due to a play provided between a projection 8 and a recess 9, resulting in the line feeding of the paper 19. |
