PURPOSE:To obtain a rigid socket for semiconductor element by integrally housing socket hole, external connecting terminal and internal conductive material within a box. CONSTITUTION:D is a box body forming a socket device and the box body itself may be a solid box body or a hollow box body. The box body D is rectangular provided with two lines of a plurality of socket holes 1 at the upper surface and the extruded external connecting terminal 3 at the lower surface. The socket hole 1 is engaged with the terminal of shrink type semiconductor element. Although not indicated, a conductive material is provided within the box body D as a material for electrically connecting between each socket hole 1 and corresponding external connecting terminal 3. This conductive material may be a printed circuit. Since the box body D integrally comprises the socket hole 1, external connecting terminal and internal conductive material connecting them, any clearance is not generated even in case of loading or unloading semiconductor elements to/from the socket hole 1, the device as a whole becomes very rigid. Moreover, since a printed circuit board B is not required, realizing cost can be lowered. |
