The invention relates to a roller bearing, the races of which have annular grooves machined into them from the outer circumference or from the bore and the rollers of which have recesses machined into them from the side faces. Under load, the tracks yield elastically in the region of the annular groove and the roller portions yield elastically in the region of the recesses, edge stresses thereby being prevented.
