The invention relates to a push-button switch whose push-button plunger can be moved from its quiescent position into two switching positions in which different contact pairs of a printed circuit board can be bridged in each case by different contact elements. The construction of the push-button switch is in this case selected such that the few parts can be mounted without aids such as screws etc., if required also by machine. In particular, a relative movement between the switching elements and contact pairs during contact-making is prevented. The operator receives a reliable sensation during operation of the push-button switch.
