The invention relates to an electric coffee machine with a centrifugal filter which has a filter inner space with an actual filter arranged approximately in the radially outermost region. A coffee machine of this type is to be provided in which the unbalanced masses owing to uneven storage of the ground coffee are reduced. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the centrifugal filter has a feed-in region for the ground coffee which is situated lower and close to the axis and is connected to the radially outwardly rising sliding surfaces.
