摘要 The invention relates to a control device for internal combustion engines, in particular of motor vehicles, having a first fuel feed device producing a homogeneous basic mixture of fuel and air, and a second fuel feed device, which injects the fuel directly into the combustion space. In order to retain the favourable fuel consumption figures which can be achieved with diesel engines and similar stratified-charge petrol engines, particularly in the part-load range while, at the same time, avoiding the power limits due to soot formation, the invention proposes to feed in the fuel only via the second fuel feed device up to a predetermined load- and/or speed-dependent operating point of the internal combustion engine, preferably above 75% of full load, thus for example 80 or 85% of full load, but additionally to use the first fuel feed device as well when this predetermined operating point is exceeded, while reducing the quantity of fuel injected via the second fuel feed device if required.
