A WARP SHEDDING APPARATUS IN THE LOOMS

Warp shedding heddles(1) of a loom are raised and lower by actuators connected by respective synchronizing links to respective synchronizing levers. In turn these are coupled by connecting rods to their respective cranks. The dispositions of the levers and the links provide that warps remain in the upper part of the shed longer than they remain in the lower part or viceversa, so that a tension difference is created between the upper and lower warp yarns at beta-up, esp. in high speed jet looms, ensuring an even weave. Pref. the heddle actuators are rock levers.
