The farm tractor has a rear lifting device for the connection of agricultural machines, especially ground-working machines, the working position of which is to be adjustable by means of the lifting device. In order to vary the working position of the machine in relation to the tractor as little as possible during height adjustments, the raisable and lowerable lower links of the lifting device are arranged in such a way that their front ends are located near the front limiting plane of the rear wheels.
