<p>A plastic coating is provided on a heated wire in that powder is poured around the heated wire for adhesion thereto; the wire is then passed through a funnel shaped heating chamber, wherein the wire encounters chamber space narrowing radially progressively in direction of passing, for heating and melting the powder completely, the melted plastic is uniformly distributed thereby about the wire when leaving the chamber in special cases, foam can be deposited on the still warm and sticky coating.</p> |
