PURPOSE:To enable a forward and backward rotation operation or a speed change operation, etc., by allowing a friction wheel made to closely contact with a rotary wheel body on the peripheral surface of said wheel body to slide in the radial direction of said wheel body. CONSTITUTION:A friction wheel is made to closely contact with the rotary center of a fly wheel 5 by the force of a close contact spring 12, and with this plate power is not transmitted from the fly wheel 5 to the friction wheel 9, so that a driving wheel 3 is not turned and kept into neutral state. When from this state the friction wheel 9 is made to slide, e.g., in the left direction in the drawing by subjecting a shift fork shaft 10 to slide operation, the friction wheel 9 is made to closely contact with the rotary part of the fly wheel 5 side to permit the friction wheel 9 to turn in one direction, e.g., forward rotation direction and to permit said rotary force to be transmitted from the spline shaft 8 via a chain 16 to a vehicle shaft 2 and the driving wheel 3. |
