PURPOSE:To both turn on a lamp under the condition of good visibility and stop an engine so as to prevent seizure or the like of the engine before its occurrence, when the amount of lubricating oil or the like is decreased to the amount below a specified level, by providing a warning lamp turned on at the Zener voltage of a constant voltage diode. CONSTITUTION:When the amount of oil is above a specified level, a switch 18 is opened, and an ignition device 10 is normally urged. On the contrary, if the amount of oil is decreased to a value below the specified level during operation of an engine, the switch 18 is turned on. Then, a positive half wave current of the AC output of a generator 20 used for charging a capacitor 12 for ignition is caused to flow in a lamp 14A till a positive half wave output reaches the Zener voltage of a constant voltage diode 42, and the lamp 14A is turned on. While, even if said positive half wave output exceeds the Zener voltage, the voltage applied to the lamp 14A is held to the Zener voltage by the diode 42, causing the lamp 14A to be continuously turned on. On the other hand, the capacitor 12 can be not sufficiently charged under this condition, causing misfiring to stop the engine. |
