PURPOSE:To enable complete prevention of the occurrence of explosion, by a method wherein, after molten ash, containing salt, produced when waste liquid containing chloride such as alkali metal is disposed by incineration, is crushed by the use of steam or a compessed air, smelt temperature is reduced to below the melting point of smelt through spraying of waterdrop. CONSTITUTION:While sprayed waste fluid is flowing down in an incinerating furnace chamber 1, moisture content is evaporated to burn an organic content, ash containing alkali chloride is molten, a part thereof flows down in company with exhaust gas, the rest flows down along a furnace wall 5 and reaches a part coupled to a molten ash recovery chamber 15 formed at the lower incinerating furnace chamber 1. Thereafter, molten smelt is crushed by steam or a compressed air injected through a nozzle 6 installed to the upper recovery chamber 15, and is cooled and hardened by waterdrop injected through a water spray nozzle 7 located on the downstream thereof. The hardened smelt drops to a base part to discharge it by the use of a scraper device 8 for discharge, and the smelt is discharged in a dry condition through a smelt discharge port 12 and a smelt discharge conveyor 14. |
