PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to simplify assembling by packing the gap between a waveguide and a supporting metallic fixture with a potting material so as to support the waveguide by the supporting metallic fixture. CONSTITUTION:The supporting metallic fixture 2 on the supporting body side is fixed on the supporting body 1 by screws 5 together with a plate 4. Under said state, the potting material is charged into the gap between the metallic fixture 2 and the waveguide 7 so that the gap is packed with the potting material, and hardened so as to support the waveguide 7. Since the waveguide 7 is fixed by the natural hardening of the potting material 8 in said method, the waveguide 7 is prevented from external force in one direction and the generation of bending stress, so that damage due to preloading can be prevented. Said method makes it possible to absorb the positional shifting in a wide range, so that it is unnecessary to prepare many kinds of supporting metallic fixture or shims. |
