PURPOSE:To display plentiful debugging functions only by inputting a simple command by using a system console device of a host computer for debugging of a microprogram of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:When a diagnosing program monitor 6 specifies the start of a diagnosing program, the diagnosing program 7 is excited and the diagnosing program execution mode is started. At the point of time, the controlling device 1 side is in a main microprogram execution phase, and when an INQ switch of a host computer 2 is depressed, an interruption is generated and the control device 1 side is turned to a console microprogram execution phase. Simultaneously, the host computer 2 side is turned to the operator mode and various debugging operations such as display and alteration of the contents of respective registers, I/O boards and RAMs of an interrupted main microprogram 4 can be spcified by a debug command input. |
