A loading apparatus (16), which is primarily designed to weigh down a marine conduit. The apparatus consists of two weights (12), essentially of concrete, and at least one connecting piece (16) made of a material resistant to aging, running between the weights. The connecting piece is appropriately shaped like a tape or belt etc. Each weight is fitted with at least one penetrating hole (14), which narrows towards the end in which the connecting piece enters. The connecting piece is doubled back in order to be attached to the weight by means of a wedge-effect locking component (18), which is positioned in the hole across its length and extends through the doubled back eye (20) of the connecting piece.<IMAGE> |
