<p>Solid absorbent materials, having adsorbed thereto from about 25 ppm to about 500 ppm of a halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon bacteriostat, when used as animal litter products, effectively prevent the development of urine odours.</p><p>Absorbent pads having adsorbed thereto from about 5000 ppm to about 30,000 ppm of the bacteriostat when used as liners in litter boxes likewise effectively control odour development.</p> |
