<p>Use of a compound of the formula (I) <CHEM> wherein: R is 2-,3-or 4-pyridyl, pyrazinyl, 3- or 4-pyridazinyl, or 2-, 4- or 5-pyrimidinyl; R<1> is hydroxy, methoxy or ethoxy; R<2> is C1-C10 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, C1-C4 haloalkyl or <CHEM> R<3> is C1-C10 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl bearing one or two substituents selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 alkyl, halogen, C1-C4 haloalkyl, and C1-C4 haloalkoxy, or R<3> is <CHEM> R<4> is halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 haloalkyl or C1-C4 haloalkoxy; Z is -CH2-(CH2)m-O- or a direct link; each m is independently 0, 1 or 2; or R<2> and R<3>, when taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, form dibenzo[A,D]cyclohepta[1,4]-dienylidene, 9-fluorenylidene, 9-thioxanthenylidene, 10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[A,D]cyclohepten-5-ylidene or 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-ylidene; or an agriculturally-ecceptable salt thereof as an antifugal agent or plant growth regulator.</p> |
