An apparatus switch with a connecting part for installation in domestic electrical apparatuses or the like, the complete apparatus switch forming a structural unit which is composed essentially of a switch housing, a baseplate with an earthing connection, and a tension-relieving clamp. This measure results in a connecting capability which renders the previously normal wiring to terminal rows and the like in apparatus housings superfluous.
