<p>A portable water conditioner comprises a container with an inlet and an outlet, a pressure reducing nozzle being connectable to a conventional water tap. Flexigle tubing interconnects the nozzle with the inlet. The container serially holds a filter, activated charcoal, a screen, regenerative anion and cation exchange resins, and a further screen. The water flows from the top of the container to the bottom. The container is cylindrical and has top and bottom caps. The conditioner is inexpensive and produces softened, dealkalised drinking water. It is regenerated using inexpensive regenerant chemicals.</p> |
