The two-wheeled cart has a frame to which skids are fastened for easy climbing of stairs. Trough-shaped plastics slide bars (2) are removably fastened to the skids (1) by overlapping clamp elements (4) which may be locked on the skids, to increase the sliding capability. The clamp elements pref. have a C-shaped profile, and engage around web-shaped projections (8) on the slide bar side surfaces. When in use, the clamp elements may be locked against axial displacement by inter-engaging recesses (13) and projections formed on the webs and the clamp element flanks (5,6).
