A contact arrangement which can be attached to a fixed-position electrical conductor (10) such that it can be deflected and has a contact element support for making contact with the electrical conductor and with a male contact (12) which can be inserted into the contact arrangement is distinguished by the fact that the contact element support is formed by at least one current-conducting profile section (13, 14) having at least one retaining pocket (15, 16), which is formed by the profile, on each of the two edge regions of the profile. The retaining pockets are open towards the electrical conductor which is to be introduced and towards the male contact which can be inserted, and a plurality of contact elements (17, 19), which can roll, as well as spring elements (18, 20), which are allocated thereto, are held in a captive manner, to be precise in such a manner that the contact elements which can roll project at least slightly out of the retaining pockets and can be pressed into their retaining pockets - against the forces of their spring elements. <IMAGE>
