The slats (12) of a fixed blind have on their upper end a slat flange (12a) which is bent up in an L-shaped manner and on the lower end a slat flange (12b), which is bent downwards in an L-shaped manner, with a bent-in rib. The slats (12) are snapped into slat clamps (14) with a channel (14d) at the upper end and a downwardly and backwardly pointing flange (14g) with a slot (14h) at the lower end and held under spring tension. The slat clamps (14) are fastened to vertical construction supports (10) by a T-shaped projection (18), which stands out from the rear side of the clamp, being inserted into a keyhole-shaped slot (16) in the support (10) and twisted in relation to the slot. <IMAGE>
