PURPOSE:To provide a reducing function by producing a deviation of rotation between two gears, by a method wherein one gear is located in an inclining state on a shaft rod, the other gear is disposed in a manner that it partially mates with the former gear, and the two gears are so formed as to slightly differ in the number of teeth from each other. CONSTITUTION:A reduction gear body 1 consists of a shaft rod 2, a face gear 3 which is rotatably located in a manner that it is slanted with respect to the direction of the axis of the shaft rod, and a face gear 4 which is positioned facing the gear 3 in a condition to partially engage therewith and slightly differes in the number of teeth from that of the gear 3. A projection 5, formed in a circle in cross section, is formed in a slanted manner on the shaft rod 2, and when the face gear 3 is mounted on the outer periphery of the projection 5 and the face gear 4 is attached to the rear end part thereof, the two gears 3 and 4 are positioned so as to be always engaged with each other in some spot. Meanwhile, teeth 7 are formed on the other end of the face gear 3, and a face gear 8, gearing with said teeth 7, is rotatably mounted on the shaft rod 2. This causes a deviation in rotation between the two gears 3 and 4 to provide a reducing function. |
