Disclosed are a die casting device and die casting method. According to the present invention, provided is the die casting device including a first die and a second die forming both sides of a mold cavity to form the mold cavity of a shape corresponding to a product to be manufactured by die casting; a shot sleeve wherein a sleeve space connected to the mold cavity is formed; and a plunger installed to move inside the shot sleeve and press-fitting a molten material received inside the sleeve space into the mold cavity. An opening open toward to the inside of the sleeve space is formed in the top of the shot sleeve. An exhaust groove positioned at a position corresponding to an upper part of the sleeve space is formed in an inner surface of the shot sleeve. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a die casting device capable of reducing the content of air bubbles inside a molten material at a low additional cost with a simple structure and a die casting method. |
