Title compds. (I; R1=C1-10 alkyl or alcyclic; R2, R3=C1-6 alcyclic; R2,R3=forming 5-7 membered hetero cycle contg. N; n=2-4) having antiarrhythmic activity, were prepd. in 4 steps. a) acetonitrile pyridyl II and R4COR5(R=H, alkyl; R5=alkyl) reacted at the presence of acetic acid and piperidine. b) the resulting product of a was catalytic-hy-drogenated to give satd. nitrile. c) The satd. nitrile of b was alkylated by X-(CH2)n-N(R2) R3 (X=halo) d). The nitrile group of the resulting product of c was hydrolysed to corresponding amide to give I.
