An aluminium alloy handling container which is in the shape of a right prism or a cylinder characterized in that it is made of semi-hard treated alloy and that at least a side wall (5) of the prism or the circumference of the cylinder has at least one downwardly open resilient flat (4) formed by cutting out and inwardly bending of a part of the said wall or circumference.
