PURPOSE:To eliminate the inconvenience such as one brake fault or missing of clutch by exchanging between interlocked function and independent function of left and right brakes in accordance with the turning radius. CONSTITUTION:During high speed running, the leading edge 4a of pitman arm 4 contacts with the arched section of guide face 18a to push the link arm 18 and hold it standstill. Consequently the rotary cam 15 coupled through a rod 21 brings the left brake pedal 8 near to right pedal 9 against the compressed spring 10, to engage the nail clutches 8b, 9b thereby both pedals 8, 9 are interlocked to function simultaneously. While under quick turnable condition, the pitman arm 4 moves to the positions a-b, d-e to move the link arm 18 as shown by dotted line thus to separate between pedals 8, 9 thereby independent stepping is enabled resulting in quick turning by means of single brake. |
