PURPOSE:To promote vaporization of fuel, by providing a first fuel injection valve for injecting fuel at the time of low-load and high-load operation of an engine in each of intake passages located on the downstream side of branched portions of an intake manifold, and also providing a second fuel injection valve for injecting fuel at the time of high-load operation of the engine at the concentrated portion of the intake manifold. CONSTITUTION:First fuel injection valves 21-24 are operated over the entire operational range of an engine covering from its low-load operation to high- load operation. A second fuel injection valve 25 for injecting fuel at the time of high-load operation of the engine is provided at the concentrated portion of an intake manifold or at the portion of an intake passage 10 located on the upstream side of the concentrated portion of the intake manifold and on the downstream side of a throttle valve 15. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to promote vaporization of fuel. |
