PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having firm, durable adhesiveness irrespective of change in environmental conditions under application and useful as various laminating adhesives or coating agents, containing high-density polyethylene modified by grafting with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride as the main component. CONSTITUTION:The titled resin compsn. consists of 100pts.wt. high-density polyethylene compsn. having an unsaturated carboxylic acid or anhydride content of at least 0.001wt% and composed of 2-80pts.wt. modified high-density polyethylene having an unsaturated carboxylic acid or anhydride content of 0.002- 5wt% and 20-98pts.wt. unmodified high-density polyethylene, 2-100pts.wt. ethylene/(meth)acrylate ester copolymer and 0-10pts.wt. metallic compd. selected from Groups II, III, IV, VI and VIII metal oxides, hydroxides, phosphates, carbonates and carboxylates.
