PURPOSE:To smoothly load and unload vehicles on a car ferry having upper and lower decks where automobiles may be loaded, by providing two-stage upper and lower piers having swingable end boards at free ends thereof, and connecting respective loading and unloading approach passes to each of the piers. CONSTITUTION:There are provided two-stage upper and lower piers 1 and 2 having swingable end boards 6 and 7 at free ends thereof as a pier equipment for loading vehicles on a car ferry having an upper deck A and a lower deck B where automobiles may be loaded. Loading and unloading approach passes 3 and 4 are connected to the upper pier 1 and the lower pier 2, respectively. Thus, it is possible to smoothly load and unload the vehicles on the car ferry by providing the respective piers to be bridged to the deck A and B of the car ferry.
