PURPOSE:To detect a one rotation signal with high sensitivity by connecting a magneto-resistance effect element in series at intervals corresponding to the pitch of a magnetization pattern for the one-rotation signal, and obtaining a differential output between plural detecting circuits having output terminals at connection point of the magneto-resistance effect element. CONSTITUTION:The pitch of the magnetization pattern 3 for the one-rotation signal is P and four magneto-resistance effect elements 23-26 are are arrayed at intervals a half as large as the pitch P opposite to the rotating direction of the magnetization pattern 3. The magneto-resistance effect elements 24 and 26 spaced one pitch P are connected in series between a power source line VDD and a grounding line VSS to constitute the 1st detecting circuit, which has the 1st output terminal O11 at the connection point. Similarly, the two magneto- resistance effect elements 23 and 25 spaced one pitch P are also connected in series between the power source line VDD and grounding line VSS to constitute the 2nd detecting circuit, which has the 2nd output terminal O12 at the connection point. |
