PURPOSE:An antimalignant tumor agent, containing an N,N,N',N'-tetraglycidylbis (aminomethyl) derivative, and capable of exhibiting great effect on prolongation of life against particularly leukemic ascitic cancers even in a small amount. CONSTITUTION:An antimalignant tumor agent containing a compound, e.g. of the formula (R is benzene ring or cyclohexane ring), e.g. N,N,N',N'-tetraglycidyl- 1,2-bis(aminomethyl)benzene or N,N,N',N'-tetraglycidyl-1,3-bis(aminomethyl) benzene. The compound of the formula is capable of exhibiting high effect on prolongation of life in leukemic ascitic cancer L-1210 and great effect thereon even in a small amount thereof. The mechanism of action thereof is not yet elucidated, but considered due to the glycidyl groups in the same manner as in the well-known triglycidyl isocyanurate.
