PURPOSE:To obtain more set points and output points, and reduce a device in size at a high speed with high-precision by setting and storing the set values electrically. CONSTITUTION:When a mode selecting means 31 selects an operation mode and a means 32 selects operation on one axis, two set values which are adjacent to each other in large/small relation are selected in a set value storage means 4. Their comparison values are denoted as A and B (A<B). A comparing means 6 discriminates whether A < counter value < B, and replaces the comparison values when not. This operation is repeated until said large/small relation is established, and then a counter values (current value) is compared with the set values. The counter value varies gradually with a count input, and a coincidence output is sent out when the counter value becomes equal to the comparison value A or B. When the coincidence output is sent out, a comparing means 6 sends a control output corresponding to the set value to a display device 9 and aslo to an output circuit 8. Then, said operation is repeated.
